The Guru - vegetarian menu options
£38.00 pp
Options are;
 
Starters (Choose one)
Aloo Tikki - A mouth watering  tangy potato cake served on streets all over India.
Chilli Paneer - A fusion of indian and schezuan cooking using low fat cheese and mixed capsicums.
Vegetarian Momos - Moreish Indo -Nepalese steamed spicy dumplings.
 
Main courses (Choose two)
Yellow Gram Tarka Dal - A popular dish with spices and protein rich pulses.
Aloo Gobi - Cauliflower and potato dry curry steam cooked to perfection.
Channa Masala - Chick peas in a  thick sauce a hearty dish favoured by everyone. 
Bhindi ki Sabzi - Okra in dry masala with a hint of mango.
Aloo Muttar - Potatoes and Peas in a slightly sweet yet sour dish with a subtle kick of chilli. (peas can be changed for mushrooms)
Kadu ki Sabzi - Pumpkin with spinach in mild spices.
Aloo Palak Sabzi - Potato and spinach dry curry.
Paneer and Pea Rasedar - Paneer and Peas in a slightly sweet yet sour dish with a subtle kick of chilli.

Minced Pork Momos - a Nepalese dish of steamed dumplings that is a moreish appetiser with Indians.

Whether it's marinated, skewered, baked  or simmered; meat accompanies the strongest of spices such as cloves and cassia bark. All regions in india put their own signature on chicken and lamb dishes. my aim is to offer a wider selection using white meats such as turkey and also pork for the British palate.

Masala Steam Baked Salmon - A marinated dish that brings full on flavour into this delicate fish in a very subtle and slow manner.
Keralan Fish Curry  - Using white fish or prawns this  healthy yet spicy sauce based curry comes in a  tamarind and hint of reduced fat coconut sauce.

Fish is considered a staple meal in many coastal parts of India be it the Bengali, Keralan Goan fish curry or even the inland Amritsari fish from the Punjab.
I grew up tucking into my uncles  Sardines and cod marinated in indian spices and grilled with a simple lemon juice and whole chilli garnish. 
Once you attend this lesson and begin to understand what spices to use you can start to be more adventurous with your choices of fish.

Indian Breads - £40 per person


 menu:
Lightweight Chapattis - a healthy alternative to naan breads. 
Stuffed Parathas - filled with either curried cauliflower or spicy potatoes; for keema stuffing add £3 per person
Mixed Veg Curry - a  tasty quick dish to accompany breads
Cucumber Raita - a cooling freshly made dip to accompany the above

All breads are made with multigrain chapatti flour unless requested otherwise.

Starter
Chilli Prawns starter - A fresh spicy starter served on a bed of leaves with mango salsa

 Main courses (one meat and one veg)
Punjabi Chicken Curry - Richly spiced in a thick gravy & Beb's signature dish.
OR
Lamb Keema Peas  - A dry curry with sweet yet spicy flavours. Can be made using soya.
AND
Spinach and Paneer curry
 - A creamy tomato gravy based dish that uses mild Indian cheese. 
OR
Potato and Cauliflower Curry  - Steamed  in various masalas and fresh ginger . 
 
Accompaniments you will make
Garlic Jeera Rice  - An aromatic  way to give your rice some 'personality' using Basmati rice.
 Light chapatis - yeast free light breads using mutligrain flour.

Demonstration
Spice grinding knowledge - setting yourself up to recreate these dishes again and again.
Raita - A natural yoghurt lightly spiced with grated cucumber.
